I Love Skulls, Crafty Fun, Lynn Stevens, and More!

Okay, so I adore skulls! Some of you may know this, many do not. And Halloween is absolutely the best time to buy them! I have an outdoor craft fair on Halloween, The Historic Irvington Halloween Festival, so I bought a few things for my booth! The garland is just too perfect to put on my table! And I could't pass up the aqua glittery skull!

I also had to buy these adorable slipper socks which of couse I will wear year round!

And I love my new wine stopper!

To make my shopping trip even more enjoyable, I grabbed my first Pumpkin Spice Latte of the season.

Last night my best art buddy Bianca came over for a craft play date! We made buttons with my button maker, ate chocolate, and drank blueberry wine. Perfect. Bianca is also a fellow skull lover and gave me the tip about the skull garland! Thanks!

Last but not least I wanted to give a shout-out to the talented Lynn Stevens! Lynn had this gorgeous bracelet published in the latest Belle Amoire Jewelry magazine! Congrats!

Lynn used the Hello Dollie Collage sheet as one of her supplies. See the sweet dollie head?

Thanks for the mention Lynn!

  1. Great finds! I, too, love skulls and found quite a few this year that I plan to "forget" to put away when the Halloween decorations come down. Was the garland from Target? I don't remember seeing any there, but it looks like that kind of packaging.

Your crafty play date sounds wonderful, especially the eating chocolate and drinking blueberry wine part. My crafty gals and I are especially fond of crafty play dates in Jan. and Feb. when there isn't much else going on.

    Happy fall!

  2. Cool skulls Kristin, those slipper socks are adorable! Thanks for the shout out!
    hugs Lynn

  3. For the longest time I would buy skulls for my son.But in fact it was me who loved the skulls! He likes spiders,hahaha...
    I love the socks/shoes
