Idea-ology Necklaces By Bianca

I wanted to share these cool necklaces created by Design Team member Bianca Mandity!
Bianca used fragments for the base. She also used the house charm el tiny trinket for the first necklace and several of the Tim Idea-ology products such as the game spinners, sprocket gears, ball chain, stencil type, and philosophy tags! You can go HERE to see the full line of products. I think she did an AWESOME job don't you?

Bianca's Fabric Dolls

I promised you I would share Bianca's fabric dolls when they were finished. Here they are! I still have only one finished (I shared her a few days ago), but plan to work on the other at some point :).
Bianca used the Hello Dollie Large Fabric collage sheet to create these and also used the blue chicken wire ribbon for the skirt and the crown.

IAA Canvas Swap

Yesterday's swap was a success and we had 16 participants! It was a blind swap, so we put each canvas in a bag and randomly selected a piece!
I was an extra lucky girl, and in addition to my swap piece I received this ADORABLE, TINY canvas from my friend Bianca just because. Have you ever seen something so small and cute? She also made a lovely card to go along with it. As you can see she used my favorite German Heads collage sheet. Thanks Bianca! I love her!

Happy Sunday

Happy Sunday everyone! I added a few fun things to my Etsy shop. Of course my favorite piece is the tiny Frozen Charlotte ring! This is the second ring like this I've made. I don't think I posted the other - happily it sold right away. I do sell the ring blanks in my store and they are a lot of fun to use.

More Sarah Elder!

Once again, I just had to share Sarah Elder's DARLING pieces of art!
For the heart pieces, Sarah used the Hello Dollie Valentine Day collage sheet. Time is ticking to get those Valentines finished!

Sarah created these two sweet dolls using the Hello Dollie Large Dollies Collage Sheet printed on fabric. AND she HAND SEWED the sweet little things. She has much more patience that I!
I just adore the feathered wings that she used too.
Sarah will be turning 30 on February 13th so go and wish her a Happy Birthday. I too will turn 30 on March 6th!! Oh my!

Charlotte Fabric Collage

I've only used my sewing machine for a few projects so far, but I think I'm hooked! I had so much fun making these sweet fabric collages on 4 x 4 wrapped canvas. And of course I had to use the frozen Charlottes! These were my first ever fabric collages, but probably not the last.

The gal above is listed HERE on Etsy!

And this gal is for the Indiana Altered Art Swap this Saturday!
I hope you like them :).
I also made this little fabric ATC using the fabric collage sheets from my site. It's for my friend Diana. Last March for my birthday she gave me the most wonderful box full of sewing goodies when she heard I bought my sewing machine. I promised her I would make her something first, and I'm keeping my promise, finally. Sorry it took me so long to start using my machine Diana!

Thank you Dawn Sokol!!!

I received the MOST LOVELY personalized journal in the mail from Dawn Sokol, author of 1000 Artist Journal Pages! I had the pleasure of meeting Dawn at the ZNE Convention this past September, and we made a trade :). She really personalize this journal by using my favorite colors, elements, and some quotes/words significant to our trip back in September.

The details are amazing! Just look at this binding. She makes the journals from scratch!

I have to tell you the story about some of the text and the eyes on the back of the journal. The house we stayed in was at the top of a winding, scary hill. One night we were driving home, when Dawn spotted some glowing eyes on the side of the road and exclaimed "Ooohhh Kitties" in a excited voice. We laughed so hard when we realized they weren't kitties at all, but mangy raccoons! This is what the drive looked like during the day - you can only image what it was like at night!

Thank you Dawn! I will cherish the journal. Now I just need to get the guts to use it!

Valentines Day Dollies

Last night, I update the website homepage. You can see it HERE. Let me know what you think!
But after I was done, I had an idea. It inspired me to do more. I was mesmerized by the pinks, reds, and dollies......

So, here they are! Hello Dollie Valentine. I'm in "love" with this sheet!
You can get it HERE in digital format and HERE in paper version.
I hope you like it. The little gals kept me up much past my bedtime.

Aren't they just the sweetest things ever!
Sarah is a doll too :).

Chicken Wire Ribbon and More!

I've been spending this snowy day listing new goodies on the site! Below are a few of my favorites! See all the new goodies HERE. These rusty vines are a must have!

Also, as promised, I listed this cool Chicken Wire Ribbon that I used to make the wings for my fabric doll! It's available in FOUR colors. See it all HERE. You will LOVE this ribbon! SO many uses!

Let it Snow

It's been threatening to snow for several weeks now. Instead, we just had ice, freezing rain, and COLD. Finally, the magical stuff began to fall today. The first real snow. Though we live right in the city, our house is surrounded by small patches of woods. Below you see my view from the back of the house and the front. So lovely!

Fabric Doll Fun!

As promised, my friend Bianca came over today, and we made fabric dolls! We made 2 each, but I only finished one. Bianca is still putting the finishing touches on hers. So here is my little Charlotte.
I'm in LOVE with the sparkly wire stuff I used for her wings. I'll be listing it in the store soon!

And because I thought you might like to make your own dollie, I'm offering the sheet that Bianca and I used for our dolls in the store. They are the same size as the dolls we created. You can get the large fabric doll sheet HERE.

They are very easy to make! I've only used my sewing machine a few times, and I seemed to manage (despite a few technical difficulties and needing to consult the manual once or twice).
