Rocky Ripple Wrap Up and Paper Crane!

Here is my booth from this past weekend's Rocky Ripple Art Festival. I was so excited to be put next to Melissa Bryant of My Wire Empire. Melissa is an awesome artist and we have been neighbors before at past craft shows! She is great company and we had incredible weather.

I also had a surprise visit from my Step-dad Mike. He purchased a "No Sale" vintage cash register necklace, which he is wearing in the photo.

We had a nice time enjoying the weather and the people together!

Last but not least, here is the adorable Grayson showing off her candy sprinkle ring that her Mom bought for her. I love how she's holding it like it gives her super powers! Super cuteness at least!

I also wanted to share some goodies that will be heading to Bloomington (IN) for a new store called Paper Crane. The grand opening is October 15th. Sally Harless is the store coordinator and I was thrilled when she asked for some Retro Cafe Art goodies! Here is the ring display that will be going. Sally is also the owner of Sadly Harmless and her illustrations are amazing. I recently bought her 2011 calendar and I love it! Be sure to check her out!

I also came up with some packaging for the vintage typewriter and cash register key necklaces.

More info. on the back!

And some similar packaging for the candy sprinkle necklaces.

What do you think of the packaging?

And finally, be sure to come to the Indieana Handicraft Exchange Fall Mini THIS Friday! I've been working like crazy to have plenty of new jewelry!

Fountain Square Art Fair Customer Photos!

I wanted to share a few photos from the Fountain Square Art Fair yesterday! As you can see from the blue sky, the weather was perfect! There I am above in my booth. Many artists had not set up yet.

This is my friend Michelle aka "Busty" from "Bustys Fun Bags". She was wearing the skull goddess necklace that I made, which she had purchased at IndySWANK.
Busty has the most AMAZING purses as you can see, so be sure to check her out. I adore my Busty bags!

Here is the sweet Stephanie sporting a candy sprinkle necklace she just bought!

And Pam, who purchased a pink sewing machine bottle cap necklace. I was SO excited to meet Pam in person for the first time as we have been Facebook friends for a while now. You rock Pam!

This is Rose with her new "R" vintage typewriter key necklace. Rose is also an artist!

Layla was so sweet and showed up wearing her Shift Key necklace she had purchased last year! She bought more goodies too. Thanks for your continued support Layla!

Josie also came wearing her "magic" dictionary pendant from last year. I love seeing people still enjoying their jewelry.

And last, but never least the amazing and talented Nancy Moore! Nancy has been a huge supporter and customer for a while now. She is a fabulous singer and is also in the band The Born Again Floozies. She picked up a pair of gummy bear earrings. And yes folks, that is a wig she was wearing for the art parade!

What a fun day! Next weekend I will be vending at the Rocky Ripple Art Fair!

Zionville Lion's Club Fest and Cecilia!

Here is a booth shot from this past weekend's fair! Sorry, it's a bit dark. The weather was nice and I met a lot of great people. But of all the people I met Cecilia was my favorite!
She looked SO SWEET with her heart candy sprinkle necklace on a pink chain from my booth. She was wearing the most adorable tutu and her shirt had an ice cream cone pattern. The sprinkles were the perfect topping :).

Seriously sweet! I could hardly stand it!

A Few Things...

Hi! I have a few non-related things to share! First, I wanted to share these wonderful paper dolls created by Sharon of The Teacup Incident. They were published in the latest Somerset Holidays & Celebrations! Congrats! Sharon used the Hello Dollie Collage Sheet from Retro Cafe Art Gallery for these! Be sure to check out her sweet blog.

Next, I wanted to share this banner I made for my friend Kim's Baby Shower. Not my usual project, but it was really fun to make!

Lastly, I wanted to share my dinner (well not the actual dinner as I ate it ALL). Labor Day marks my 5th year with Chris, so he surprised me by making me dinner. HUGE shrimp with my favorite St. Elmos cocktail sauce, filet on the grill from Joe's Butcher Shop, and a cake from Taylor's Bakery. It was so sweet and he even looked up some tips on the Internet. For instance, before baking the potatoes, rub them with olive oil and then sprinkle with sea salt. Simple and it made them SO good. Chris is so wonderful and I love him with all my heart! (and my stomach tonight).
