Baby's New Name and a Thank You!

Today is the day I reveal the naming contest winner and baby gets her new name! She wanted to put on her fancy dress for the occasion. I tried to tell her it was a bit over the top, and the purse and parasol were not necessary, but she insisted. She will go back into her angel outfit after the day is done.

Thank you to all for submitting names! It was so hard to pick. But one name stood out to me and my little ANNIE! Annie was fitting since she was like a little "orphan Annie" until I picked her up. Sweet, simple, and meaningful! I hope you like it. So Jennifer is the winner. I'll be emailing you shortly to claim your prize!

Speaking of naming contests, I was one of the lucky winners to name Cassandra's mannequin! I picked a "kit" as my prize and just look at all the GORGEOUS goodies I received! THANK YOU Cassandra, this was more than I could have imagined. And she included all of my favorite colors - pink, aqua, cream, silver, and GLITTER! I'm so lucky! THANK YOU so much!

I was also busy this weekend as a vendor at another craft fair! The weather was INCREDIBLE so I was one happy crafter. Here is my set-up. Sorry about the not so great picture, it was taken with my old camera as it's much more portable.

  1. Well I suppose if you insist Christopher is a girl the Annie is a perfect name!! :)

Oye you better not let Madeline (long I) read your posting!!! Otherwise be prepared for a temper tantrum of a major order!! Remember we have Modeling Assistants not Mannn... Sheeeesh!! :) :)

    Pattie ;)
    Mazatlan Mx.

  2. Oh Annie looks lovely! Congrats on scoring the awesome prize :0)

  3. What a great name pick! I am so glad you like your goodies!

  4. Lucky you- that Cassandra has great stuff! Love Annie's wings. I made something with another one of your doll heads and posted a pic on my blog.

  5. Hello Kristin...Just wanted to say Hi and let you know that I used your Vintage photos in an art project today and "linked" your site so everyone could get them at your store/site. Hope you like my work. Take care, Roberta
