Bird Fabric Cuff Bracelet

I had so much fun making this fabric cuff bracelet tonight! It was one of the projects in Ruth Rae's new book, Layered, Tattered and Stitched: A Fabric Art Workshop. The book is really incredible and I highly recommend it! Of course I added a few special touches such as the organza flower and used my favorite colors! I love how this project is so versatile and I can't wait to make more!

I also finally figured out how to make a button hole on my machine! It took FOREVER, but will be very easy next time!

  1. wooow it is gorgeous !!!!!!!!! I absolutly LOVE IT !!! this blue is my favourite color too !!

  2. Oh I got that book too! And I had the pleasure of taking a class by her, she is fab! Speaking of fab your cuff is OVER THE TOP darling!! It is a great job! I wish you could teach me how to make a button hole, Im having a heck of a time learning!! LOL!! Great work, love the cuff!!

  3. It is so very beautifull, and love the color , and bird theme-I too bought the book, maybe I should try my way, on a bracelet.

  4. These colors are so yummy! Great job!

I am back up and running since my old Gateway Notebook caught that nasty "Storm Worm Virus" last week and it ate my entire hard drive. I lost everything. I now have a new Dell Studio 17 laptop, new Internet Security and a huge supply of data sticks to put my work on so this never happens again. If you don't have your work backed up, please get some data sticks and do so. I would hate to have this happen to anyone.

I am back in the saddle and catching up on Blog visits this morning!
