Name That Mannequin Contest!

I bought this gal this week! I wanted her to display some of my soldered charms at the upcoming art/craft shows. And of course, she must have a name! So I thought it would be fun to have a contest. I must admit, a few times I walked into the room where she was and JUMPED. I thought it was a person standing there...LOL! Read below for the contest.....

I need some help naming my mannequin so I'm having a contest! Simply post your best name on this post, and on Saturday May 30th, I'll pick my favorite. The winner will recieve any FIVE digital collage sheets from my store! I may pick a few runner-ups too :).
The contest is now CLOSED! Thank you for all the wonderful entries!

  3. Hmmm Kristin,

Naming your first real live mana...er modeling assistant ;) is always such an important occasion. It sets the tone for all those who will follow her :) The way she carries herself and dresses she gives the impression she is a bit shy and innocent. A girl on her own for the first time. But then one notices she has real back bone. and appearances can always be deceiving!!

I'm almost sure I heard her tell the other Mana...modeling assistants that her name was Madeline... with the "I" pronounced with a long "I" sound of a willful independent woman. No soft "i" mammby pammby shrinking violet thank you very much!!

Oh do have fun naming her!! Before long you will wonder how you ever got along without her!! :)

  8. What a fun contest naming your gal. I think her name should be Amalia since you are wanting her to "work" displaying your charms. It's what I believe to be the Latinized form of the Germanic name Amal, a short form of names beginning with the element amal meaning "work". Amalia, for work.

Hmm, I thought the name was Finnish rather than Latin.
